Vacancy: Senior Business Developer
Overview
The Business Developer will sell the Matchpoint Careers (MPC) solution to corporate buyers. S/he will have a direct responsibility for winning new business and for building and sustaining client relationships. This is a consultative selling role.
The position holder will work closely with the VP Business Development of MPC.
Principal activities and responsibilities
- Generate sales revenues according to agreed plans and targets
- Create an account strategy for each client to ensure that MPC meets clients’ needs and objectives
- Identify and prioritize prospects through networking, referrals and direct sales and marketing activities; develop opportunities and close business
- Lead resolution of issues that impact clients’ success
- Respond to sales leads within 24 hours or the next business day
- Demonstrate product and industry knowledge through client sales presentations
- Develop compelling explanations of the company’s product/service offerings and capabilities; contribute to the drafting and revision of written materials such as project proposals; conduct pre-sale needs analysis and develop solutions
- Participate in the strategy and product direction of existing and new products including both individual assessment instruments and job profiling tools
- Desired experience and knowledge
- Business to business sales experience of technology or consulting solutions
- Experience in developing relationships and influence with senior-level executives on program design, evaluation and sales solutions
- Demonstrated success in closing and growing sales with existing clients
- Some understanding of Industrial/Organizational scientific principles would be a plus
- Experience of applying psychometric assessments to recruitment
- Experience managing clients in the Human Capital industry

Compensation
The compensation package will consist of salary and bonus opportunity and equity participation. Compensation will be weighted towards performance metrics, typical of and necessary in a start-up environment.
